“This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with
words or tongue but with actions and in truth.
1 John 3:16-18

If you have landed here, hopefully it is because someone left you a card with a generous gift attached. The purpose of that card and that gift were to give you the opportunity for something even greater.

As Christians, we are the recipients of a kind of love that is all too rare in our world today. It is a love that can be known and felt every day – that is available in the best of times and in the worst of times; a love that promotes others above self, that causes us to go the extra mile, a love that drove Jesus Christ, the Son of God to give his life for us, a love that is available for anyone who will call on His name today.

“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own,
eager to do what is good.”
Titus 2:11-14

It is our desire at New Life to be the hands and feet of our Savior by expressing His love to you, and that by doing so you will know that He truly cares for you.

I want to thank the person that left me a LoveWell card attached to a full lunch from Einstein Brothers Bagels. It had my favorite sandwich on a Bagel, with a small side dish of potato salad, some gum and my favorite candy of all time!! I know who left it and I appreciate it so much because I was exceptionally hungry, and exceptionally busy at work and would not be able to get lunch until much later this afternoon.
This person is so awesome and I really appreciate her. Thank you for having this project.
